Susanne Rikus creates visionary contemporary paintings rooted in ancient cultures — from Hawaii, Sardinia, and Berlin's Heckmann-Höfe. Each work is a singular original, collected internationally for over 30 years.
Susanne Rikus (b. 1968, Höxter) studied architecture before a near-death experience in 1994 transformed her practice into a lifelong exploration of ancient cultures, spiritual consciousness, and the energetic language of color.
For over 30 years she has exhibited internationally — in Hawaii, Peru, Germany, and across Europe. Her gallery in Berlin's Heckmann-Höfe has been a destination for collectors and cultural institutions since 2014. Her works are held in private collections across Germany, Hawaii, Brazil, Spain, and Israel.
She is listed on Wikipedia and ranked in the global Artfacts Top 100,000, with a German Top 10,000 ranking.
